• Cirurgia colorretal minimamente invasiva e seus resultados oncológicos e funcionais;
• Alta no mesmo dia (same-day discharge) após cirurgia colorretal;
• Rastreamento e prevenção do câncer colorretal, incluindo populações remotas da Amazônia;
• Revisões sistemáticas e metanálises em coloproctologia.

Parte dessas linhas — em especial a comparação entre cirurgia robótica e laparoscópica no câncer de reto — constitui o tema central do meu doutorado, com trabalhos em desenvolvimento.
